The confusion
summervacation has been happy,sad confusing.. There is a sad part you often forget by being a "exchange, language" student you need to say good bye to everyone sometime. why because the ones your with are often also exchange student and need to go back home. the dream your living in gradually becomes blurry and the reality pops out from nowhere.
the happy part is your bonds get stronger and you meet new people and such ..
the confusing part is when you from dream to reality realizes that time is short.. your mind becomes a mess , your actions becomes a mess

i took the night bus to tokyo yesterday ... and when i arrived it was morning and high buildings everywhere! its really different from kyoto where its not allowed to do high buildings and such ! :P
i must say that the bus is sooo much cheaper then shinkansen ! crazy cheap .. my ticket costed me 2900yen ! its abour 250 sek i think !

now im with my friend whos swedish and studies here :D and later the 27th my friend from sweden will come and well explore tokyo ^.^

studying everyday even saturdays... started in a club at the uni, a dance club so now im learning locking coming home late.. but i WILL start updating . the trip in japan only started and i didnt fail on midterms so ... Yeah!

There are two kind of compliments we humans use.
The outside compliment : the one thats not important at all but is used the most. The outside,the look, the clothes, the materialistic things surrounded by a person. encourage these stuff is what i do , you do everyone does.

The inside compliment: you achieve something, you make a good deed or creates something with a talent you got. The one thing we usually forget to encourage. This one is the one that should be used more but is not. I belive this kind of compliment is the most effective one to make a person feel good aboutthemself and give them the acknowledgement that is needed to be able to keep on living.

Ive Moved, Ive gained weight,Ive finally done a bit sightseeing!and school starts in a week! the 40 pages of vocabulary are still undone! 6 months has passed and many friends are back in their countries. Its sad but also exciting times right now!

Ok, by now everyone knows about everything that is going on here in japan pretty crazy , everything is so strange and is hard to belive , i havent really understood it yet. Even thou im save and everything , here in kyoto kansai. its closer than it seems . Tsunami, earthquake, vulcano, the nuclear power explosion etc etc.. It reminds me a little bit about the movie 1012. but then again , well see , everything happens for a reason . Im ok now anyway . now im just lookin for potassium iodine pills , not so easy to find im afraid of. So Ill eat alot of salt for now -.- :P

helloo! long time since i wrote something(again) i promise ill try to get better!
this weekend was long and fun! My birthdaay!! (2 days ago now) hwheheheh but ive c elebrated it the wholeweekend! Havent studied anything! thursday,Club Butterfly! Friday,Domadoma!(nomihoodai)

Today I went to a strawberry farm or what I should call it ! Its really different from the ones in sweden and the strawberries are HUGE!! :D delicious and fun!

and update ! I few weeks ago , i helped my dear friend My! she made a beautiful dress and I got to help her with beinga model for her amazingly well done dress. me and a really cute girl called sophia got to be the models :) it was fuun!And lots of pancakes where also done! what more has happened ?? school scool, oh and yeah! ive got an apartment and will move closer to school and bigger, Next Month!!! YAY :D

MISO SOUP!

Today i made some miso soup 4 the first time. okay it was'nt somethingdifficult . you buy some tofu and then some kind of mustart , that is the miso. and then boil some water and put it all together lol. haha but it was good anyway lol... i didnt have seaweed so i took norm. salad hahah
but now i have tried to do nabe, takoyaki and miso , now is only the rest left
school is slowly getting better.. I guess its bcz we are repeating everything.
In one month ill turn 20! and in 3 month ill move! ok i dont really have an partment yet, but its reeeaally easy to get an apartment so no worries!;)

now 2011 has begun. New adventures will surely happen this year!
I got a package from sweden yesterday, with marabou chocolate and clothes and more. plus I got woken up by a message from my "lil bro" It is snowing!!! . So somehow newyears felt like christmas eve.
In japan the christmas and new years eve , isnt celebrated as it is in sweden. Christmas is for couples. going out on dates and you can buy strawberries in every food store. Lol
And newyear is celebrated with family, going to a temple and whishing for a good new year. In sweden you go out with friends and look at the fireworks. so its a bit diffrent :P but i like it, diffrent is always good !

Today Was a day full of small adventures!
First I went down to nijo, to get my bike! Well it got taken because I parking it on a place where it is not allowed to park. (practically you are not allowed to park anywhere) so I managed to find the place almost my myself.... Not! hahah my dear friends Hiro and My where guiding me though the phone! When I got there I payed 2300yen and got to search for my bike . it took a while cuz I didnt know if they took it on fri or saturday . but i finally managed to find it , and teached the worker 3 words in swedish " hej" "tack" "var försiktig"
After that I met up with my friend Wanda. we went to a huge Park ,adn found an orange tree. And tried to take one for a while and almost gave up , But we managed to do it in the end! YaY :)

I have taken a brake from my vocabulary studies. .. mid term exam is closing in . 276 Kanjis 19 Chapters of vocabulary and grammar ! Yupe thats what i will have a test on, on tuesday and wednesday. Am I prepared for it ? not at all. Will I probably fail? yeah it wouldnt suprise me, but ill do my best !

I havent done alot of painting/drawing since i came here . this is one of the few pieces ive done so far, im really longing for the christmas holiday :D Relax and chill is what i'll do !

well i havent written or updated in a while but lots have been going on .... especially studies !
we have mid term exam next week so there is alot tostudy cuz im not good enough. T_T ive always been kind of slow, and my old teacher thought so too she thought i had consentration difficulties too . i guess she istn wrong about that hahah but well thats how it is .

ive been requested to show pictures of my "house" so well,this is my room anyway , i recently bought a table and 2 chairs so i can study or whatever. :P i like it ! ( the painting on the wall istnt mine , or there anymore . i was painting a painting for my friends birthday at the time :) first time I did a pinguine xD . I'll maybe some day put the finished result up someday , well see about that .

These are three cards I did for my "little brothers" :)
They arent really my little brothers but i met them at kamogawa and they reminded me of myself when I was younger so I felt like I wanted to be there for them :) so now they call me m Oneechan :) which means bigsister :) That makes me kind of happy so one day I felt like giving them something, so I made these three cards . Everyone got an individual look but they are somehow connected :)
The bells are there as usual. I just love that symbol :) and i think it really fits in for this concept ^^
Inside the cards are two small photos and a little quote I wrote for each one of them. Diffrent ones :) And 100Yen haha So everyone has 100 yen each for purikura ofc! cuz together now we can afford it :D haha I love that idea! xD

WEll WEll today Me and my friend Giosue , went to a elementary school in kyoto, to be on a show, I dunno if we came on tv, but that was the idea and lots of videocameras were there.
so now you might wonder why? well it was a tv celeb, who traveled around the world in 60 days . so my friend giosue,s host family mother asked this person to come to the school and tell about this trip and guess what he said? ofc! so he came to this school and he spoke about his trip , after that it was time for us to show our faces.! To play a game with the children ! it was really fun . Me and my friend ( and other people too) represented their coutry , and the children were paired in groups and were ordered to ask us foreigners where we came from , and the paired up in swedish gruop, chinese group and so on .
i represented ofcourse the swedish ! then we had a quit and could win star stickers and such .
after that everyone went out to plant a tree , and everybody was going to do that, it was a symbol of this memorie together.
the tree that was plant was a sakura tree (cherryblossom).
well this was the big event today and nothing except studying at the school library happened.
o yeah I got warned at the library cuz I where drinking , and it is not allowed to drink or eat at the school library T.T

I havent made anything about art in quite som while! so well.. These 2 pictures are works from students at kyoto uni. art and design. Its the school that is beside my languageschool. We split alot , f ex the restaurant and the library .
The 2 works are "paper" sculptures of a fish and a dragon , totally amazing ! they are so huge and by night , or well when it turns dark , they put the lights on so they can be seen at night to!

this school is amzing ! Im thinking of maybe apply to this school later on. cuz it is amazing ! in everyway! they have their own galleries and much more! its crazy! im totally in love with the school

Hi! long time ago!
well it's so much in the air so you really dont get any time to write! busy life in Japan it is ;)
I thought about telling you about the Kamogawa today !
Its the riverside where everybody is chilling and mingle in kyoto. Its really an amazing place ! I havent even been bored one time at kamogawa!
It's fun and cheap! Here in kyoto it is quite expensive to go out clubbing , around 2000-3000 Yen ! but when ur inside the club u wont be dissapointed! Its really fun :D !
The 29th I was at the halloween party at a club called world! it was alot of fun! Dancing with my friends , thats what i love the most! Before the halloweenparty at the club called world weofcourse went to kamogawa ! ;)
Its sick ! you start by 9 at night until 4 in the morning ! Thats what you call a place of success!

well today after school it was internatonal meeting , or what i should call it .. it was really fun!
first you where split up into groups , japanese students from the kyoto uni. of art and design and the immigrants where mixed together . after that we did sushi MM! delicious ! we where so many that there wasnt so many pieces to eat but i got 4 pieces of sushi anyway YaY! after that it was minlge and meet people :P lots of fun! and many nice people :)
after that i went to mcdonald with these 3 dear friends:)
so the day was a success !

difficult but fun , I especially liked the kanji lesson today , bcz we used japanese(chinese) brushes which are so fun to paint with :D YaY!

today was my 3rd school day, it was good, it was slow. yeah the normal school stuff. then not really alot happened . I bought a little bit food from 1ooyen store and a few other stuff to. and walked by the river. !
I really love that right into kyoto two rivers are pouring. :) and then they meet and becomes one. its really beautiful. I know i will be spending alot of time by the rivers :) I have already spent some time there just walking, but also drawing, doing homework. :)

Well Well , My computer died so thats why I havent been Writing. But now I have bought mysellf a new computer . Yeah its not a thing you whould do just like that but two days without a computer was enought. these 2 days have been very expensive! Why? because I bought a phone , a computer and a camera! Yeah I finaly bought a camera not the one i wanted but this one is good enough! but now I have to be really careful with what i buy ! nomore expenisve stuff!
even thou I bought a camera I havent taken any photos .. bcz I bought it today so Ill put up photos by tomorrow .. :)

so now 2 days of school has past by, and I really like the class . I am in the lowest level , so I'll learn from scratch :)

This is the schools bicycle parking spot. For me it takes about 20-30 minutes by bike to school. but its cheaper than bus and the bicycles here are very easy to ride on. its crazy even if you go uphill you wont get tired! I really love my bike :)

So yeah you could say that school has started, until now I have liked it very much! a good teacher, and the schoolstaff is great :)

Gomenasai ! no pictures today. Blame it on the rain!
I and Bell planned to visit a temple today , but the rain said otherwise. So we went to town . or rather took the bike ... The rain was really frustrating even the 100yen rain coat didnt work .. what did I do wrong? haha. well so what happened was not so much .. only a bit shopping . Some house supplies and notebooks. and a wakeup bell ^^ well thats about it I think.
tomorrow will be the school test! it is for checking our knowledge in Japanese. After that we will be set into a class . and i think one week after that school will really start! :P

Today Lots and lots of money where spent!
Thats how it is sometimes! What you see on the picture is a bad one done with my pc-camera . Well you might wonder what it is? it is a Digital dictionary Japanese-english ! It did cost a little , but I will really use it a lot! I got the idea from a girl who lives in the same dormitory as me and bell. She said it's almost impossible on the lessons if you dont have one. bcz it goes in a fast tempo!
Not only the dictionary but also a bike! I have bought the most beautiful bike! it is almost limegreen and you think it is new but it is really a recycled bike! The bike costed me about 900o yen (850 sek). so it was worth the money. the otherones where not my style and there where parts that i didnt like.
what more?? Well I also explored the way to school (Ill begin at monday. ) Lots of 100Yen (10 sek) stores! It's crazy they have so many stuff! It is really difficult to not buy too much!

Today I woke up really late! around 15.00 I blame it on the jetlag ;P
I still dont have a camera, but I will hopefully buy one tomorrow. Bcz I will go to a huge computer and etc.. store. It is called Bic Camera:P
so what have I done today? well I bought some more stuff for my room and som'e food. As we walked by a little shop , an old lade sold bananas for 100Yen(~1o kronor) !! Thats really cheap, fruit here is so expensive! and we even got 2pack bananas for 100yen! Happy time!
My Japanese still sucks, but today I dared to say a few words ^^

A bit Later, me and Bell took the bus (for the first time here in kyoto) to the kyoto station. The bussystem is also diffrent here .Not only is it Left traffick here, but you even go on at the back of the bus and you pay as you leave the bus. the bus costs 220Y (~20 kronor)

So that was todays adventure :)

Sorry for not publishing any photos. I dont have a camera.
Well today me and bell went on a long walk. It took some hours but now we know how the city looks like. (a little)
We have also bought some stuff for our little home such as a frying pan, cups and such. :)
the prices are almost the same as in sweden but the grocery- shopping is really different!
In sweden you for example buy big packages of chicken, meat ore such. but here there are only small packages. and then costs around 150-200 Yen depending on how much it contains. ( can be more)
but fruit is really expensive! It is exciting I hope I'll start to learn japanese as fast as possible because right now I feel like such a jerk, not able to hold conversations in Japanese.

The flying trip where just chaotic, I had over weight so I lost some important stuff. and i got a cold.
But enough of my complaining! Right now im great! and I have arrived! I am in in my messy room here in Japan, kyoto where I will live for 1,5 year! An adventure is waiting for me and my friend Bell! And it will be great!
It is in the middle of the night right now , so we havent been able to see so much except our nabourhood. so Ill go to sleep now and see more tomorrow !

everything is fixed CSN, insurance, and so on! which is great! because I have really been struggling with these stuff. Now it is only the packing which is really hard. How can I only take 20 kg with me :O ?? !!

Well Ive got two jobs right now. one that is really tiring and one that is the softest job ever:) and that job is at a swimming-pool in my area. Most of the days when ive been working the weather has been very bad so nobody have come to swim. what have I and the other workers been doing instead? hehe we've done these childish things!(see the picture) :D

Today at work when me and one of my workmates where working we saw 5 birds trapped in a nets, that where intend to protect strawberries. So we borrowed a sissor and saved the 5 little birds :) They where lucky today!

Yesterday I went on a Demonstration against the Nazis. It went well until those fuckers started to throw glass-bottles at us. It rained glass, but the police stopped them as fast as they could but my friend got hurt . That made me very angry ! but well the demonstration went well after that . I can not believe why some people becomes nazis? They think they are the best human race and everyone in their country which dont have the same human race as them are bad humans that only make use of the society and destroys their country. thats so irritating. They dont even know their own history ! They would be dead if not the immigrants came to sweden. F.ex The potato is not swedish ! its from south america. And the potato saved sweden from starvation !

Anyway we where so many more people than the nazis, so at last they finally went home with their heads down. I hope they die or something.

Extremely old photo - Sarah

Yesterday I went to uppsala bcz my friend sarah had "student skiva" . It was really nice, first delicious dinner and then partying and dancing but then what? while we were talking a fight begun between some guys and it totally went berserk.
First they turned all the tables upside down and then they hit the security guards, so the guards started to hit them back with their truncheon's and they managed to kick them out BUT they came back , the guards ran in to hide them self and they came back with poles and smashed the tables and all the tables, me and my friends just sat there while everyone went inside. Then Sarah started to scream at them telling them to just go and more. It was scary and one of them had blood all over himself smashing the window with his bar hands . Crazy!
Then the police came , but they where already gone, we told them about the incident and they got them later which is great. !
But i think of the incident as a bit funny, well it is so ridiculous that persons really act that way because of some stupid cause . They don't really harm others, the others can earn money on them by suing them so in the end they only harm themselves .so stupid!.. -.-

Trees Hyde Park

I'm back from 4 lovely days in London with here4u. We visited a school, went shopping ( I love primarkt), went sightseeing . it was great ! but now my feet hurt as hell! :)

we lived right beside Hyde park, such a beautiful place right in the middle of a city full of stress . The trees where so beautiful , I specially loved this photo of these two trees. they reflect each other so perfectly :)

Omg i dont really read books but somehow i read this book in only 2 days!!! it's the first time for me reading a book soo fast, so I must share this with you !!!!
Yakuza moon is a book by shoko tendo, where she writes about her life as a yakuza boss's daughter and a drug addicted life . well a really nightmare but she made it though ! omg this book is so good im so amazed by her book!! i cant stop think about it! The book is not so thick so i think everyone should read it :D

Yeees ive been good . Ive studied alot! I must say I've been studying really good the last few days but it's still alot do do!

That was AMAZING! where shall I begin well!!! Me , shirin and emma Went crazyyy!! even thou we had sit-places we went as near as possible screaming and shouting , even wrote TOM on our belly's! I even had a wissle ! And belive Me, TOTALLY WORTH IT.! I had a wissle , tom, bill watched over at our place bcz of that, not only because of that . But well they saw us and It was AMAZING . Tom were looking a lot! when he was beginning to go down the stage , he turned around fast looked at us and then went . OMG!!! and we were able to see a little bit backstage , from our seats and this WAS GREAT , we waved to tom , and so did he :D:D::D happy!!
Well it was great! But in the end I lost my phone somebody stole my phone :(:( PAIN!!

Yeah they to certainly are different! from rock pop to dance hall!

But it was really cool ! T.O.K are Really good in performing and damn', I love to dance with their music.
haha Hamide got a kiss from one of them and danced with them. I came up later on the stage with her . It was really fun!!

This place is called kandowan . its in Iran near Tabriz . If there is a place I want to visit now it's this place. It's soo cool ! just look at the houses. totally amazing! I've never been there . havn't even been to iran yet :(

woops! when I came home from school today I was tired , so I thought it would'nt be bad to rest for a bit.. at that time the clock was around 17:15.. I slept for about 4 hours!!!! not good. but damn' I just love to sleep :D I feel like madame butterfly . (the first picture)

He uses oilcolour. and the paintings are realistic and often a bit political and often a bit sensual. there is a softness in his works that I admire soo much I just love it! they also have this surrealistic depth!

when I feel like I dont have any inspiration I usually do psychadelic-mushroom's in the drawings. don't know why.. maybe it's because they give you delirium, a mesmerizing world? with new inspiration? haha

The green Riots- Iran

Okay so this one is inspired by my other half. Many might see this as something bad and horrible. the girl digging up a skeleton. ( if u see it , I don't know about that . but it is anyway hehe)
that symbolises that many will die but wont ever be forgotten . for example neda who died. That was a horrible thing that happen. but i try to think positive. she wont be forgotten and she has become the green riots in Iran's symbol.
The little pictures are pictures i've seen from the riots.
When i see pictures of the riots on the internet and such I usually get happy . Because Iran needs a change and this is the one opportunity for it to happen. To see the riots give me hope for a free Iran.
Iran ones changed from shah to dictatorship. Yes that was a bad thing . But the citizens were able to change it and they will be able to again and again if everyone fights together!
I believe and hope that Iran soon will be free from dictatorship and i think the green revolution in Iran will make it happen!

well we planned to go to this bar called pluto but we couldn't get in so we moved on to Konrad and stayed in line for a while until they called ... "It's Full" yeah so we didn't get in there either and the clock was 12 ... I was a bit mad of course but we then went to kåren and stood in line for about 40 minutes... It was worth it I had a greaat time ! Lots of friendly and funny people :D and I spoke some Chinese as well with a few Chinese people that i met yaay! well so I wasn't out and danced along time but the last hour of my day turned our to be good so im satisfied

Incense = Danger!

Well I thought it would be nice having incense on while I was painting for my project-work.
Well It didn't turn out that way!
It fell down on my bed and I didn't notice.(had put it on a shelf over my bed)..
So when I felt like it was enough , I went over and didn't see the incense, hmm strange?
So I looked down.. YEAH! There it was on my bed , had burned a hole in my bed-sheet. and on the mattress as well..
Well fine I thought BUT Then I saw a horrible thing!
My Jacket had gotten a hole as well because it was laying down on my bed... :'(
My beautiful Jacket That I found on a second-hand shop RUINED! it was from a stewardess costume from -87 T_T
So the upset me finally got some company when a long lost friend came to visit and then also hamide after a while :P
So I'm happy again , but a very tragic accident....

Messed up Humanity

Spoke with a friend and I got some messed up ideas ... well humanity is insanity..
We are obsessed in materialism, power.. humans are all greedy.
we want to have it all.
we wont ever be satisfied with what we have .. But hey thats what we are, humans! isn't that how we were created? greedy and the ability to come up with new things may be good things such as new medicines. but also bad things such as weapons, drugs etc...
We will often cause other humans suffer if that is the thing we have to do, to get what we want.

Dictatorship, domination over other humans and other living creatures, materialism. I hate them! but will never be able to escape them.

A real fucked up day today. Me and my friend Emma decided to go on the "rekryteringsmässa" Bcz we both need a job :P
Well we thought, lets copy our CV at the school library after school!
well The library was closed ... we found at last a teacher who opened the library for us <3
well then the whole computer system at school went down .. NOO what shall we do?
Well Emma went home copied out both of our Cv's and I went straight to the "rekryteringsmässa"in the cold ... Bcz I don't have a bike...
Well we met and we went to the wrong place!!!! Nooo! and it was totally wrong . it would take us alooong time to go were it was ....
Emma got reaally pissed of and i just laughed like a total maniac !
But Emmas dad came and rescued us..
so at last after all this drama we came to the right place but what the fuck we didn't find anything in our taste ..
well i found one thing :D :D I reaaally hope I will get that job its about working as a hostess on a bus :P

Well i just recently came home from a Latino Birthday party... my friend ines and her big sis. celebrated today and as usual I Embarrassed my self in front of Everyone!
We sang happy b-day and so i said(no one else :S ) " ett fyrfalligt leve för ines och.... " yees i couldn't remember her big sis name ,, it became so quiet, it was possible that you could hear a needle fall down on the floor!!..
my memory is really bad! well now I know the name anyway but .. yeah. :P
But me not remembering names is not so surprising it took me 1,5 year to learn all my classmates names... yupe Im not lying!!!

The Green Revolution in Iran

Well for a while I have been thinking of doing a drawing that represents the Green Revolution in Iran ... I have felt a few times that I also want to go there and fight together with everyone . For freedom for the purpose of living your own life!
A revolution is needed , there is not alot of choices ether you fight for your freedom and might die or you live in mizery your whole life and don't live as you really want ..
personally I would take the first alternative because why live in a world there you can not live , love life freely ?

Green Revolution = absinth
When i hear the word absinth i think of halucination , death and desire ( yes i am aware that its alcohol :P hehe ) and i think those are a few factors that exist in Iran right now

Get a bite

Well Today was a normal calm day.. slept through the whole day ,, so I will tell about yesterday!

I was invited by a friend to come with her and her family to sthlm, to go on a concert .A Chinese concert! Yeah they are Chinese ;) I tagged along and had so much fun the "concert" was a celebration for a 60 year anniversary .. For what I really don't know but the whole thing was in Chinese .. It was different performances .. dance , song , theatre .. things that had with the Chinese culture to do AMAZING..! It was really fascinating . And of course there were alot of Chinese people there so I practised and after the concert we went to a Chinese restaurant and ate Chinese food as you do in china I was soo happy and just felt like I was back in Shanghai :D And I also spoke as much Chinese as possible and held a few conversations .. Yeah! and for that I got a few compliments ;) happy! I haven't had such a fun time in a long while :)
